Olivetto Restaurant & Wine Bar
Olivetto (the little Olivo), is located on Guildford High Street, infront of the Guildhall. The building dates back to Elizabethan times when it is believed to have been the house of the Town Mayor. In similar character to Olivo, Olivetto boasts open beams, wooden floors and an attractive bar where guests can enjoy an aperitif. This convivial atmosphere extends to the front dining area where a meal can be enjoyed overlooking the High Street and famous Guildford clock.

The front room, also known as the Dickens room, is steeped in history and believed to be the home of the Mayor's first meeting room. Imagine what plans were discussed and hatched in this room! It's likely Sir. Francis Drake also passed by in his coach on his way to Portsmouth to fight the Spanish Armada.

A truly interesting and historical experience can be enjoyed at Olivetto's. Throughout summer there is an outside seating area where you can enjoy the beauty of Guildford, sipping a glass of Italian wine accompanied by a selection of traditional Italian dishes.

Our Restaurant Managers, Fulvio and Roberto, look forward to welcoming you and providing a unique dining experience.
